Odion Ighalo’s Future In BIG Doubt After Watford Rejection

Emerging reports say that the future of Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo is in very big doubt after his club Watford rejected a £37.5m bid from Chinese Super League side, Shanghai SIPG.
SIPG coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson is keen to partner the Nigeria international up front with Brazilian striker Hulk, who joined the big-spending Chinese club in a £46m deal on Thursday.
But reports say that Ighalo, who has 11 caps for Nigeria and has scored 37 goals in 63 appearances since joining the club from Spanish side, Granada in May 2014, does not know what the club wants exactly.
Already Watford has signed another striker in Ighalo’s compatriot, Isaac Success from Granada at club record fee of £12.5m and has handed team captain and striker, Troy Deeney, who had been rumoured to be heading to champions Leicester City, a new 5-year deal.
Ighalo is appearing surplus to the Hornets’ requirement as he has remained stuck with the club in spite of readiness to further his career if allowed.
In the same vein, Watford has completed the signing of Belgian centre-back Christian Kabasele from Genk in a £5.8m deal.
